The cottage is located in the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a designated world heritage site. The River Tamar marks the border between Cornwall and Devon. The Tamar Valley provides a wealth of archaeological and historic interest with its fascinating history of mining and trading along the Tamar River. There is a tidal slipway less than a mile away at Cotehele Quay and the tidal reaches of the river Tamar are ideal for bird watching.

Adjoining Newton Farm the Cottage enjoys a delightful, rural outlook with its own private garden.
